Individuality is Cherished

We often hear stories about how schools try to herd all children together and get them to do the same thing – “everyone draw a green tree and yellow sun. While children do often need some instruction in order to accomplish a task, there still needs to be room for individuality and freedom of expression. All children do not necessarily view the tree as just green – some will automatically think of a tree with vibrant fall colors. Children who are homeschooled usually have much more freedom to express themselves, more time to do so, and every completed project is cherished for it’s uniqueness.
