Welcome to Learning at Home – a resource for families who have decided (or are considering) to educate their children at home. We created this blog to share some of our experiences as we homeschool our daughter. We’ll also share some tips and resources we have discovered along the way. Please feel free to follow along and leave comments if you wish as we always love to hear from other homeschoolers.

Please note that we are fairly new to homeschooling ourselves (in our 2nd year), so we are by no means experts on the topic. We are merely sharing our experiences in hopes it may benefit others. However, we have come to realize one very important thing that everyone new to homeschooling needs to realize – there is no right or wrong way to do this. Through and trial and error, everyone needs to take time to discover the style and methods that work best for their family. This is probably one of the biggest advantages and probably one of the main reasons many families choose to homeschool.
